Smart HMS 2.0

The Smart HMS 2.0 screwgate is a pear-shaped carabiner with screw nut and safety gate system from Mammut. The Smart 2.0 is designed to be used with belay systems, making it easier for you to position the bucket thanks to the safety gate, the 2.0 version has a higher breaking load and reduced weight. It still offers the same double security and ease of use. The screw lock can only be operated when the safety gate is open. Accidental opening is excluded, as is accidental entanglement of the carabiner in the belay hook of the climbing harness. This prevents dangerous side loading.
